To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Ruthie!

Sweet Ruthie was adopted at the end of April 2021, but sadly her new mom has sustained a back injury and can no longer care for her. Her former adopter has indicated that Ruthie needs to be taken on walks regularly or she may occasionally have an accident in the house. She has indicated that Ruthie does great on the leash and enjoys her walks, but she can be reactive to some dogs and therefore should be the only dog in the home. She does not like being in her crate and will bark when left alone as she prefers to be with her human. Therefore, she will need some crate training so that she can overcome her separation anxiety.
