Meet Ivy!
UPDATE 9-11-21: Ivy has been with a new foster family for approximately 2 weeks and here is what they have to say:
"We have absolutely loved having Ivy in our home. We have two dogs, a 1.5 year old 45lb terrier and a 7 year old 10lb terrier and Ivy has settled in well. The big dogs play A LOT and we’ve noticed that Ivy is very intelligent with her signals and receiving signals (ex: I don’t want to play anymore). Ivy and our older dog respect each other for the most part - there haven’t been any fights but some growls back and forth. Ivy is crate trained and throughout the day chooses to chill in her crate when she’s not being crated. She is potty trained however we still witness an accident about every other day. We can tell she enjoys being outside and just sitting on the porch or chairs. She is not reactive when people or dogs walk by our house and has shown no signs of trying to escape. On her walks she is the same and is very friendly to strangers who want to pet her. She does pull on the leash but it’s manageable. The thing we love most about Ivy is the affection she shows her humans. She loves to give kisses and will flop her whole body on you to give hugs. You can just tell she has so much love to give."
We are looking for an experienced adopter for this lovely lady! We also offer foster-to-adopt trials, if you would like to see if she might be a good fit for you. If you are interested in adopting this princess, please fill out an online adoption application at www.arwob.org Don't wait!
