Meet Dali!
UPDATE 3-22-21: Here is what Dali's foster family has to say:
"Dali is a silly, energetic puppy. He loves to chase a ball, but does not always bring it back unless you have another ready for him to chase! He loves to get his ears and his belly rubbed. Dali loves to go for walks and say hi to everyone we pass (even the mailman), he is very friendly with people and other dogs. He needs to work on not pulling on the leash but he has gotten much better about it, especially when we run. He likes our cat and foster cats as well. We are still working with him on crate training but has been improving."
ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:
Dali was rescued as a stray from the streets of Tijuana Mexico. We think he will likely reach 40 pounds when full grown. He loves everyone, including adults, kids, dogs, and cats.
Because of COVID-19, sterilization appointments have been difficult to schedule. Dali will be neutered in the 92109 Pacific Beach area of San Diego on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
Dali will be available to meet potential adopters right away. However, priority will given to local area applicants. This will ensure they are able to take him to the pre-scheduled surgery appointment and then pick him up at the end of the day after surgery. Therefore, please do NOT submit an application if you are not local to San Diego and able to attend the appointments shown above. We may consider an out-of-area adopter IF they are willing/able to drive to San Diego to bring Dali to the appointment on 4/7 and to remain in the area so as to pick Dali up after the surgery. If you live outside of San Diego and are unable to make the drive, you are welcome to wait until his sterilization surgery has been completed to see if he is still available (please note that we do not place holds on any of our rescues).
If you would like to adopt Dali, please submit an application online at www.arwob.org
