Meet Coco!

Please thoroughly read her written biography below, so that you will learn of her adorable personality and some quirky behaviors. This will determine if she would be a good match for you and your family. If you’d like to meet her, please submit an online adoption application (to adopt OR foster-to-adopt) or an online foster application (if ONLY interested in fostering), and we will contact you within 48 hours.
UPDATE 2/25/21: Here is what Coco's NEW foster mom has to say about her:
Wants to be the only dog
Good things about Coco:
An active, sweet cuddler!
Likes to play and go on walks
Travels and sleeps well in a crate
"Coco likes to play fetch and she likes toys. She loves carrots and other veggies. She will jump up on the couch and sit on your lap for hours. She likes to go on walks and does not pull too much. As you’ll see in the videos, she has lots of of energy! She is also fine with cats."
ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:
This sweet little lady had a hard life and only recently has had a second chance. She has several quirks which are not the best and this is through no fault of her own. Her current foster family has had her for months and sadly she is not adjusting. Most of her quirky behaviors are likely also related to her being in a home with many dogs and cats. She will likely do best in a quiet, easy going home with NO other pets. Ideally her adopter will be a retiree or a family that works from home, who lives in a house (NOT an apartment), as her excited vocalizations would be an issue for an apartment dweller. Her adopter can request a “foster-to-adopt” trial for 2 weeks to get to know her, but they need to understand that Coco will need dog training to help improve/minimize her quirkiness. We feel an experienced dog owner would be best for Coco.
If you are interested in adopting this adorable girl, please complete an online adoption application at www.arwob.org.
