To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.
Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.
Also remember to review importantevent information BEFORE attending.

Foster a Rescue
Fostering is FREE and FUN!
We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Our handsome Berlioz, aka Bear, is 2 years young with a gentle, low-key soul of an old man. He is very calm, sweet, easy-going, and loves being around his humans. He can be a bit timid at first when meeting new people but once he feels secure, he is a purr monster and loves to be petted. He especially loves to have his head brushed, kind of like how humans enjoy getting a scalp massage! He tolerates being picked up, but prefers to cuddle next to you. Like most cats, Bear also likes to lounge in front of a window and he LOVES feather wand toys!
Bear has been fostered in a home with cats, dogs, and a rabbit.He enjoys the companionship and cuddles with other calm, easy-going cats. He has been around kittens and is fascinated by their shenanigans and zoomies, and enjoys being the babysitter watching and supervising their playtime. He is not a fan of the dogs and prefers to not live with them. Bear has not met any young children, but given that loud noises or sudden movements can intimidate Bear, we suspect he would prefer his humans to be adults-only.
Bear is very food-driven and would love to spend his days at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Adopters need to be aware of monitoring and managing his food intake and weight. He is currently at 14.5 lbs and needs to lose 2 lbs.
