Bitty is a fantastic 1 1/2 year old female cat. She was rescued by the group in May of 2009 when she was just 8 weeks old. Her 4 siblings we adopted thankfully with each other (two boys adopted together and two girls adopted together). Bitty is a great girl!
She is currently in a home with multiple cats, most of them little kittens that come and go and she could care less she allows them to play around her and will sometimes join the fun. Her best friend (and we would love for them to be adopted together) is Louie another 1 1/2 yr old DSH tabby.
Bitty also does well around dogs, will chase a friendly dogs tail and walk around them if she knows they are safe.
She has not been exposed to children but we imagine she will be fine around older children who know about kitty's personality and know how to be gentle, however, she will not be a great kitty FOR children per say as she likes to do her own thing.
Her favorite activities are: Running up and down the cat tree house, play with little random things she finds in the floor especially kitty toys like little mice, lounge under a great ray of sun and perche herself on the window going in and out of the blinds.
She is also very fast with the feather toys and loves to chase those around.
Bitty is extremely independent yet loving, she is the first one to arrive at the sofa or bed when you are ready to relax, she is always watching when that will happen as she knows she will be loved on.
Bitty is ideal for someone who will enjoy the companionship of a cat but not necessarily get a kitty for their children or their other kitty in the home, although she will do very well in a home with other pets and possibly children who will play with her and entertain each other without having to want to pick her up all the time.
If Bitty and Louie were to be adopted together there adoption fee will be waived.
Bitty is extremely healthy and very well behaved and litter box trained neither of these two kitties have ever had an accident, they do like to scratch their tree house so a nice scratching post is a must. www.arwob.org
