Meet Snow!
UPDATE 12/2/20:
Snow had been fostered by an applicant that wanted to keep her, but her landlord would not allow her to do so. She loved Snow and was heartbroken that she was unable to adopt her. Here is what her foster had to say about her during the time they were together:
ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:
This adorable family of eight was relinquished in Ensenada and ARWOB was able to step up and take all of them in! Snow is in the need of a foster home asap ! All foster equipment and medical is covered by ARWOB during foster care.
Snow : We do not know much about her, but she was not spayed in her previous home and had an accidentally pregnancy. She is approximately 2 years old and is 42 pounds. We think she is an American Bulldog/Pointer mix, but she may also have some Dalmatian and Cattle Dog in her genes. She is good with people and most likely with children as well. She is dog friendly, but since she was rescued she has been busy nursing her pups. Therefore, we have not been able to determine if she is great/good with other dogs or selective with certain dogs. This means we are not sure if she would be happy in a foster home with other dogs or a home without dogs. She is not good with cats, so we are looking for a foster home with NO cats.
Snow is a little head shy, so approaching her can cause her to feel a little intimidated. She is a dog with a calm and observing demeanor, but who could possibly have an alpha personality. She does well with crate training and also has done well on a leash. She will likely need some training, as she does not know basic commands. We do not know if she is house trained, but she has not had any accidents in the home. She would likely be a great family dog, who will enjoy adventures, but we do not think she has a big dog park type personality. A foster-to-adopt home would be ideal for Snow!
If you are interested in fostering or adopting Snow, please submit an online adoption application at www.arwob.org. Don’t wait!
