To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet the R girls (Riley/River/Rose)

These 3 adorable girls are fostered by the same foster family in San Diego and are now available and ready for a forever family. They would love to be adopted together with another sibling, but they can be adopted separately as long as they will live in a home with another feline friend OR if they are adopted along with another ARWOB kitten.

Riley and River are sisters and the same size, but Rose came in with them during intake day so she was fostered along with them. She has always been smaller in size and is likely a couple of weeks/month younger than the other 2 girls, BUT the 3 girls are excellent foster siblings and it would be great if 2 of them can be adopted together. We are giving priority to adopters who already have family cats or are planning on adopting in pairs. These girls are fostered in a home with with young children and no other pets.

Their foster mom has this to say about little Riley:

Riley started off a little shy and definitely makes a fuss if she ever finds herself away from her fellow kittens too long, but she has come slong leaps and bounds in her foster home.. literally! Riley makes even the hardest parkour course look easy. Riley isn’t the most snuggly of kitties because she’s a bit of a tomboy. She loves her belly rubs and back scratches, she loves to play fight with her sister and, more than anything, she LOVES human hair! You’d think it would be annoying, but when you hear that little motor going next to your ear it’s heaven.

They are ready for adoption the weekend of 8/01.
Like all kittens, they will do best in a home with other cats or adopted with a friend, and we
prefer that she be adopted into a home where she will not be alone without feline companionship.
