UPDATE 7/19/20:
I am no longer afraid of my foster mom’s human movements moving around my room and I love lounging and playing in her lap! I’ve slept in the cat bed twice which made my foster mom happy but I prefer sleeping on the cozy fleece blanket next to the sink. Occasionally I still lounge in the sink as if I’m relaxing in a bubble bath :)
I am a mild tempered, low key kitten and prefer a calm household with a fur mom/dad that can continue to build my trust and confidence in humans. A kitty buddy might help me come out of my shell more.
ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:
Meow! I'm Jem, and I am truly truly outrageous! :) I was rescued off the streets of Tijuana in June and now living in a foster home in San Diego. I am super sweet, mild tempered, and have mesmerizing blue eyes. My foster mom is working on building my confidence with humans. I love head and chin "scritches," and I'm working up the courage to sit in her lap. I prefer an experienced fur mom/dad/family that can continue to work with me on my confidence and trust in humans. I have this thing in my room my foster mom calls a "cat bed." I'm not sure what to do with it and prefer sleeping in the sink :) I would love to be adopted with another ARWOB kitten or into a home that already has a cat so I have a friend to play with.
Please submit a cat adoption application online at arwob.org
