Anita is an adorable small breed (approx 17lbs full grown) and young, energetic terripoo mix who was found in the streets of Ensenada, Mexico
She is a very sweet dog who enjoys people companionship and gets along with dogs, people and cats. She is more of a 'let me get to know you first' dog before she plays comfortably and actively with the dogs she meets. She currently is good friends with dogs like Beto and Pinta and, although she is small, she is energetic and will do best with an adopter who is prepared to do dog training and sign up to continue to socialize her with dogs on and off leash as well as to learn some basic obedience. She is not house trained (that we know of) so adopters looking for a completely house trained dog wouldn't be well matched for this girl. Currently, she is doing well in the crate and socializing with the rest of the Arwob dogs.
Anita will be available to meet forever homes and will be able to go home starting Friday 2/28 in the 92117 area code and we can only schedule meet and greets with adoption applications submitted online on our wesbite @arwob.org
