To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet the The Good Place Group!

Eleanor & Tahani are the 2 girls of the group of 4 siblings and Chidi & Jason are the brothers who were rescued from a family in Tijuana, Mexico, who couldn't keep them and were prepared to leave them in the street. Without a shelter system in place in Baja, independent rescuers contact us for help and we were able to take them in. We did spay their mother who stayed with the family.

This litter of kittens are very sweet and so far they seem social and full of your typical playful kitten shenanigans. They will likely do well with dogs with a slow exposure. They are going through the shock of a new environment and taking their time exploring the foster home. We've already received notes that they are starting to be braver and beginning to explore, so will soon revert to being typical outgoing, brave kittens. The boys seem to be the biggest and have a darker/beige coat vs the girls who are smaller and have a bit lighter coat. One of the boys (the biggest) Chidi is a little vocal when he wants something like attention.

We don't have space at the adoption centers for them, hence, they are currently in a foster home in the Clairemont area and we can set up a meet with a submitted adoption application online for its review.

Update as of November: Tahani, Eleanor, and Childi are together in their foster home. Their brother, Jason, found his forever home. Their foster mom has this to say about them:

"I love these babies!!

Chidi, Eleanor and Tahani are such adorable, soft, snuggly kittens!

Like to sit on our laps or in our arms and purrr.

They are playful with toys and wrestle each other, but basically are pretty mellow kittens and can be shy if there are loud noises."

We will give priority to homes who already have cats at home or are interested in having a multicat (adopt a friend since it"s always better with a buddy) home for kittens under the age of 6 months of age.
