Handsome Toby is an adorable and sweet natured teen who was rescued in Ensenada as he was left abandoned inside a carton box in an empty lot when a rescuer/volunteer who lives in Ensenada noticed his cries. He was a very malnourished, emaciated, and mangy pup. He stayed with his rescuer in Ensenada for a couple of months to recover from the mange and gain weight, he is now in san diego in boarding in the hopes we can find a foster family or adoptive family who can show him the ropes.
He is learning to walk on the leash very well and he is an active dog, true to the breeds. We believe he is a shepherd mix resembling an akita with the coat and face.
He is doing great with dogs and would be a great dog for a home setting with other dogs to run around or an active owner with time in their hands to enroll in obedience training.
