To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Tic, Tac and Toe!

Tic is a young adult, approximately 3yr, who is a distemper survivor and has a nervous twitch/body which is very pronounced and is a constant tic, but she is not affected by it.
She is a very good dog, easy going and playful during play time, who likes to socialize and relax. She also likes to play with Mamasita and the other dogs.

Tic is likely going to do best in a home with adopters who work from home, are retired or have other dogs in the home. Ideally if Mamasita, the yellow small lab could be adppted with Tic, it would allow her to feel more comfortable. She is slightly dependent on Mamasita to be calm, but we are pretty sure that the same transfer of safety/confidence can be transfered to another family dog who can become friends with Tic. There are NO physical limitations for Tic. Please watch the video about her body tic.

if you would like to adopt or foster to adopt one of both of these girls please submit the dog adoption application online.

Application can be submited online @arwob.org
