Finnick is a young adult schnauzer mix who was rescued from Ensenada, Baja, Mexico back in December. He had terrible neck wounds and it wasn't determined if it was a burn, an embeded collar or wound from an attack, however he has since healed and the scars are not visible since his hair has grown back. This sweet boy is playful, but mellow.
Finnick is crate trained and does well with dogs, he is a little indifferent to them, and will play with some, while avoiding others. He prefers to play alone or with people, his favorite toy is a tennis ball, he loves to fetch, but isn't the best at retrieving, ha ha!
He would be happy as an only dog, but would be happy to share a home with other dogs too. He is a little reserved with strangers, but quickly warms up to them with a few treats and lots of attention. He is not fully house trained and an adopter will need to have time to do some training like house training and basic things like sit, stay, etc.
He rarely barks when he is outside in the yard playing, and is not a barker inside when he is in his crate. He loves to follow people around in the house.
