To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Trooper! We have named this adorable Lab/Golden Retriever mix puppy “Trooper” because he came to ARWOB with a skin condition that has caused him to lose his fur. He is in treatment and is expected to make a full recovery in the near future. Yet he is a happy-go-lucky puppy and is social with people, children, and other dogs. He is such a trooper!! We are estimating that Trooper will probably be a large dog in the 65 pound range when he is fully grown.

We are looking for a foster home for this sweetheart as soon as possible! This way he will have the attention he needs until he can find a home of his own. We even offer foster-to-adopt programs so you can spend some time with him and get to know him first. If you are interested in fostering Trooper, please fill out an online foster application.
