Meet Romeo!
This young, handsome and total casa nova was rescued from the streets of Tijuana when a volunteer stopped to fuel at a gas station and he approached, seeking attention and food. Romeo had a couple of scratches and you could tell he had lived a rough life in the streets, but he was super sweet and, as an intact male, we decided to take him from the streets before the rain arrived when expecting a storm back in April.
He has been nothing but a sweet boy and will be a GREAT family member!
Our volunteers always talk about how sweet and affectionate he is...what a love! He loves to cuddle with you and his coat is soooo soft! Romeo loves playing with toys, especially feather toys and when all the kitties are out, he likes to watch the action. (there is a picture of him on a cat tree perch watching all of the action at the cat adoption center with kittens scurrying around below). Most of all, Romeo LOVES to be held, so if you are looking for a sweet, affectionate lap kitty who loves to be held and cuddled with, Romeo is the one for you. What an absolute lover who lives up to his name!
He gets along best with female cats and kittens, but does not get along with other male cats and should not be adopted into a home with another male cat/cats ( this most likely has to do with his past..being threatened by other males, etc) . He would do best as either an only cat, but may be fine with a mellow female. Most of all, he would rather have human attention overall. He has not been dog tested.
Nothing would make him happier than finding his forever home of his dreams and sharing all of the love he has to offer. He will make a wonderful family member. Might that be with you? Please fill out an application online.
