To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Chewbacca! Chewie came to ARWOB as a Tijuana stray along with her momma Claire and her 5 siblings. We are excited to find a loving home for her! In fact, we are looking for a potential foster home for Chewbacca and we offer foster-to-adopt programs as well.

Chewie's current foster mom has said that she is a pleasant ball of energy, who is great around children and loves to get outside to run around. She is always ready for a game of tug-of-war with one of her toys. She is using her potty pads and is on her way to becoming housebroken.

Chewbacca is a typical happy, playful puppy who will potentially reach 14-24 pounds. She would like nothing better than to find her forever loving home and will be available for adoption on 4/5/17.
