To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Whisky! Whisky is a Dachshund/Terrier mix who came to ARWOB as a Tijuana stray. This is what her foster family has to say about her: “Whisky is a very sweet dog and it does not take long for her to warm up to people. She is a low energy dog despite her age and will lay right beside you for hours. She is extremely curious and will sniff everything she comes across. She does very well in the crate and has not had an accident inside the crate so far. She is extremely smart and a quick learner; she will learn all commands and tricks in no time! At the dog park, she was initially timid but fifteen minutes in, she started to approach other dogs and ran a couple laps around the park.”
