To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Kate...our "chunky monkey" looking for LOVE!

Kate is a young girl with an interest in playing and seeking attention. She has had a few kitty friends, but she prefers human intereaction MOST of all and would be happiest as an only kitty in the home.

She had recently been at one of our cat adoption centers and wasn't very happy with all kinds of different kitties running around, but for some kitties, being in an environment like that can be quite stressful. She is now in a foster home and is thriving....what a difference being in a home makes! Her foster mom (who is also one of our volunteers) has this to say about Kate:

"Kate is a true pleasure; sweet, full of purrs and follows me all over the hourse. She just wants attention."

Kate put on a few extra pounds since we have had her so we have begun feeding her a reduced calorie food. If you were wondering why we called her our "chunky monkey", it is because of this! The change in food should make a big difference.

She is SO deserving of a special forever home and responds wo well to love and attention.....the things which she never had as a stray on the streets, fending for herself. If you are interested in adopting this beautiful girl, she would be forever grateful and, in turn, will repay you with love and affection.
