|
Trouble was rescued in San Ysidro by a Good Sam. She was spray painted, very hungry and flea infested. Today she is about 6 lbs and is very active and healthy.
Trouble is an amazing cat; she is incredibly playful and affectionate. She would be a great companion to another cat—our cats are getting some exercise thanks to this little darling. I'm told this she doesn't do well with dogs. The one thing that an adopter needs to understand about Trouble is that you have to earn her trust. She is outgoing and friendly, but she is not a ragdoll; this is not the kind of kitten your kids can dress up. She was hurt at an early age, and does not assume all humans are friendly. A great communicator, she is very sensitive to tone of voice and body language, and lets you know with her little chirp when she feels threatened. She's a rough player. She doesn't hide during parties, and is very curious and inquisitive. She loves to be in the same room as me almost all of the time, and she wants to smell EVERYTHING. She is a fiend for playing. She is a lap cat—when she chooses to be. She also gives kisses, makes muffins, loves to sleep on our bed nestled up with a human or another cat. This is a perfect cat for someone who understands the subtleties of cat behavior; she will absolutely bloom for you. (03/03/09)
