Meet Addie! Addie was part of a litter of puppies who were rescued by a good Samaritan in Mexico. Her brothers were able to find their forever homes, but since Addie presented with a case of mange, she remained with her rescuers for several months in order to receive treatment and is now completely healthy.

Addie has been used to living and sleeping in her rescuer’s yard, so she is a little bit shy when she first meets someone new. But once she gets warmed up, she is very affectionate. Addie gets along well with other dogs, children, and adults.  She has not been tested with cats, so we are not sure how she might be with them.  She seems somewhat insecure when she is in new surroundings, but has made steady progress in becoming more confident. Addie is not used to walking on a leash, but she is learning how. She travels well in the car despite being a bit shy about new places.

Addie appears to be building her confidence very quickly and we know that she will make a wonderful companion. She would like nothing more than to find her forever home. Won’t you consider giving her the love she deserves? If you are interested in adopting this adorable girl, please fill out an online adoption application.  Don't wait!
