To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Oso!

Sweet Oso was relinquished by his mom in San Diego. She had had him ever since he was a puppy but, sadly, was unemployed for almost 2 years and now that she found a job, it required a lot of travel time from her. Because of this, Oso had been left boarding often and, since it was not fair to him, she did what was best for him, knowing that her work was requiring a lot more travel than she had thought.

Oso is house broken, crate trained and loves others dogs and people/children alike. He is not a small pomeranian, but a good small to medium size at 20 pounds. He is healthy, UTD on medical, and just had a dental. His new family will need to be aware he has grooming requirements and, as a young senior, he will need yearly vet visits to make sure that all is well.

An ideal family for Oso is someone who is retired and has time to enjoy this sweet senior pup or a family who enjoys and has time for him. Nothing would make Oso happier than to be able to go home with a forever family and to share all of the love he has to offer.
