Meet Mama May!
May is a young kitty, about one year old, who was found as a stray in Tijuana fending for herself and her 4 kittens when she wasn't even an adult herself. She was very skinny, but doing a fantastic job as a mama cat. She had 3 girls and 1 boy. Sadly the kittens had a horrible eye infection and although they were doing well, they started to decline. We sadly had to make a hard decision early in June and had to say good bye to 2 of the kittens 1 week apart.
Mama May (she came to us in the month of May) was weaned of from her babies in June, while her foster has kept a close eye on her baby girl and baby boy, both of which are doing well and growing and thriving. May has always done well. Other than an eye infection, she has always been a happy, funny, and loving kitty who has a lot of the Siamese personality. She is mostly white with beautiful blue eyes, a black adorable nose, and a few points of dilute or grey on her forehead and tail.
She is calm and laid back, but gentle, funny and oh SO loving! She loves to be petted and will be your best friend once she gets to know you. She also loves her toys....especially the three tiered track with several balls that you can see her playing with in some of her pictures. All of our volunteers always talk about how sweet and loving this girl is and she is one of their VERY favorites...always there to brighten their day!
She is very good around kittens and has become friends with several of our kittens. They love to spend time together. If you think that you might want to adopt two kitties, Mama May and a kitten would be a great choice! She is READY to find her forever family and bring happiness to a loving human family she has been dreaming of.
Her babies, Baby Girl (who looks just like her mom) and Baby Boy, are also now available for adoption together as a kitten pair.
