To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Chikis! Bold, funny, and active, this little love bug packs a big personality! Her foster mom reports that Chikis is a lap dog that just wants to be with her human companions, but is laid back and easy going. She has been super friendly with everyone she meets and is not a barker, but she will let you know if someone is at the door. Chikis likes to play with toys. She sleeps all night in her dog bed or on her peoples's bed. She is crate trained and is good with both dogs and cats. Chikis would be better suited for a household with children 10 years or older.
