To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Wuzzie!

This little guy will not only steal your heart, but impress you with his handsome good looks. He has a beautiful brown and black silky coat with a long, flowing tail and you just want to pet him. He absolutely loves attention and wants to interact with any human who is near, not to mention talking to you; he certainly love one on one time. He currently weighs about 6 pounds, but he was just rescued and are sure that he will be putting on some additional weight.

He is playful, curious, and full of kitten type energy...he enjoys playing with his toys and loves running and sliding along the floor, chasing the latest toy!

One of our ARWOB volunteers at our Cat Adoption Center has this to say about him:

Meet Wuzzie! He is a very very handsome boy with a long flowing brown/black/silvery coat with "a beautiful tail. He always is a favorite of people visiting the Cat Adoption Center for his playful antics as well as his good looks. He loves playing with the other kittens and cats in the Center. He loves one on one attention and will talk to you in order to get it. He is very active and loves playing with toys. He also loves running around with the other cats at playtime and will put a smile on your face when you watch him."

This handsome boy has already stolen some hearts in the time that he has been with us. If you are interested in Wuzzie, he is currently residing in the ARWOB Cat Adoption Center at the PetSmart in Oceanside. You are welcome to come and visit him during store hours.
