Marie is a beauty! Inside and out, she has an amazing personality. She is outgoing, sweet social, and playful. She is also very smart and has been so easy to care for. She is crate trained and loves car rides although she still needs help on the leash. She is GREAT with both dogs and cats and would always like to have someone or a friend to keep her company as she doesn't like to be alone. It's possible for her to be, but sometimes she will let out a few sad howls looking for her doggy friends. That being said, she would LOVE a home with another dog or many dogs. Currently she follows her foster mom's senior Spaniel around and loves to cuddle and sleep next to her.
To give a little background on her previous life, Marie was rescued in late January when a Tijuana rescuer found out about a neighboor who had an unaltered pure bred labrador who had recently given birth to 4 puppies. She also found Anastasia, also a product of a previous litter. The owner has been caring for the family. He is happily keeping his dog and accepted ARWOB's help in taking over the care of his dog's puppies as well as allowing us to spay his dog. Marie is Anastasia's sibling, but 6 months younger. They are all available for adoption and have been living in a patio which means they will be experiencing an actual family and home setting for the first before going into foster care or an adoptive homes.
