We believe Heidi is a mix of yellow lab and some sort of wire haired breed, as she looks like an oversized wire haired pup. She is just too cute with a playful personality to match! Heidi is sweet and friendly with all. She's outgoing and energetic--as you would expect from a young dog--but is not "puppy crazy"!
Heidi was adopted mid November 2014 from ARWOB by a loving adopter but sadly Heidi is too strong on the leash for her and hard for her to take on walks. We believe a young, active family or single adopter will be the perfect adopter for Heidi. Heidi loves to go to doggy day care BUT she also needs an adopter who will be able and willing to do training classes with her as she has some leash reactivity, mostly because her behavior was never corrected but with the right handler on the leash she is good when meeting other dogs. She enjoys the water and is such a cuddle bug with a very outgoing and loving personality.
