Poor Gladys had a rough start in life when her owners, who no longer wanted her after giving birth to puppies, left her behind after they sold their house in Baja, Mexico. She was left to fend for herself, but thankfully a good sam did bring her food and water. Our rescuers heard about this poor soul and came to her aide. She was in a very poor condition having many fleas and ticks, looking very depressed, and acting a bit apprehensive towards anyone who would approach her. Since then, Gladys has come a long way and has definitely bonded well with her rescuers. Now she gets very excited and eager to see them as she now wags her tail and approaches them to greet them when they return home. She's a good girl, gets along with others dogs, loves to be petted, and absolutely loves the water. She would definitely like to go on many adventures to dog beach and dog park.
