To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Ophelia, one of the Shakespeare kittens!

Adorable trio Hamlet, Ophelia and Lady Macbeth. They were rescued mid May from the streets in San Diego and ARWOB was able to put them in a foster home until they were older and ready for adoption. Ophelia has become a beautiful girl with a sleek, black coat and mesmerizing eyes.

Ophelia is currently in the PetSmart Cat Adoption Center in Clairemont and you are welcome to visit her there during store hours. If you are interested in beautiful Ophelia, please file an application online because it is a requirement for adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, you might consider adopting a pair so that they won't be lonely and can keep each each other company..not to mention having a great time playing together!
