To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Lady Macbeth, one of the Shakespeare kittens!

Two of the adorable trio of "Shakespeare" kittens, Hamlet, and Lady Macbeth are looking for their forever homes.. They were rescued mid May from the streets in San Diego and are looking for a foster or adoptive home.

Lady Macbeth is not a very social kitten with people yet, but her foster mom says that she is coming around. She is a bit shy at first and needs more socialization. At this stage, she is not comfortable being held for longer periods of time so children who want a lap cat to hold may not be the best match for her at this point until she is more comfortable in her surroundings.

Since she is in one of our Cat Adoption Centers at PetSmart, she will have an opportunity to be handled and admired by a wide variety of volunteers and potential adopters. We feel that this additional "human" exposure will enable her to come out of her "shell" and become the socialite that she can be!

She is such a cute DSH mix who currently weighs about 5 pounds. She is playful, curious, and full of kitten energy.

She is litter-boxed trained and learning to be a well-behaved kitten in the house. She is UTD on vaccinations, is dewormed, fixed, and completely healthy.

If you would like to adopt, please consider adopting two kittens since they would be lonely without a companion during the day. Her brother, Hamlet is also up for adoption and would be the perfect "sibling buddy" for her because they have been fostered together.

Lady Macbeth is currently located at our Cat Adoption Center @ the PETSMART in Oceanside. If you would like to visit, please stop by any time between 9:00 am and 8:00 p.m. to meet her! She is waiting for you!

It is possible to have a foster to adopt trial with a family who would like to foster prior to adopting to make sure a feline friend/friends is the right family member/s to adopt.
