Ms. Ivy Green is the sweetest of dogs and comes with some credentials. Ivy is a trained Dog for the Blind; she has dedicated the last 10 years of her life to helping a young lady. Unfortunately, Ivy's family no longer wanted her as she is in the Sunset portion of her life and they set her out on the street in Ensenada. Ivy roamed the streets alone and scared for the first time in her life and found her way to the Zoo. Zoo workers would feed her scraps of food when availble. Ivy found her way into a kennel where whe was attacked by an animal in that enclosure. The Zoo's veterinarian took Ivy under her care and that is how Ivy's background story was put together, as her microchip gave us contact information.
She is now with one of our Foster families and is setteling nicely. She loves spending time enjoying the backyard and laying inside with her foster family. Ivy isn't a major fan of the feline variety and would prefer a home without a kitty. Ivy is gentle and looking to spend her twilight years with a loving family to call her own.
