Lovely Gordita was dumped at the Tecate dog Shelter in Mexico on a Friday afternoon by her owner with no explication as to why he was leaving her behind. She was noticeably scared of him and a little head shy. Gordita spent the weekend at the shelter being a very shy and scared girl. Staff noticed she had a couple of dog bites around her body and had a lot of ticks and fleas. Because of her injuries the shelter requested someone to help her by taking her. ARWOB was able to take her in and Gordita will be ready for adoption once she is spayed and her abdominal hernia repaired. She will be ready for adoption after 03/15/14. In the meantime we are happy to review applications for her and potentialy send her on a foster to adopt trial with a potential adopter.
We are getting to know Gordita and as we find out how she is with kids and other pets we will update her biography.
