To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Mona!

Mona Is a petite, young adult DSH with adorable markings. She was rescued along with her 2 newborns early in February and they were fostered together in a home in the UTC area until the babies were old enough for adoption. We are happy to say that Tigo (baby boy) and Lilo (baby girl) were adopted together and found their forever home.

Mona is the sweetest cat....a total teddy bear. She will run to the door when you get home. She enjoys having her belly petted and rubbing up against your leg, as well as snuggling in bed. She is very affectionate and vocal and gets attached to her owners. She doesn't mind being picked up or cuddled. Mona is litter-box trained and very self-sufficient. She also LOVES to play with ALL toys... she truly enjoys it! Now that her babies have found their forever home, Mona is so looking forward to finding hers!

Mona, along with some of our other feline friends, is located in the Cat Adoption Center at the new PetSmart in Clairemont and anyone is welcome to visit her there. If you are interested in Mona, we encourage you to file a cat adoption application online and to schedule a meet and greet for this fantastic feline friend.
