Little Roxie is a small poodle mix who has found herself without a family.
She was given as a present to a family 2 years ago when she was just 2 months old and the family never treated her as a family member. She spent a lot of time outside in the yard and because their fence was not secured, she would go out and about, often into the street, and was in danger of being hit by a car. A volunteer who is neighboors with the family asked them why they had a dog if they don't spend time with her and just leave her out as a yard dog.
They agreed to relinquish her as it was the best for her knowing that she was in daily physical danger of being hurt by a car or attacked by wildlife. She is a sweet dog who has never been house trained or knows how to be a house dog but has been learning little by little and doing very well.
She LOVES the attention of people and loves to play with other dogs. She used to live with an old english sheep dog and loved to play with him!
She is now spayed, UTD on medical care, and doing wonderfully! She is ready to find that special family to incorporate her into their family and keep her safe! Could that family be yours?
To meet this sweetheart, file a dog adoption application or stop by one of our scheduled adoption events to meet her!
