To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Hi! My name is Gwendolyn but my friends call me Gwendy!

The rescuers at ARWOB are helping me find a home because my humans moved and left me behind at the empty house, all alone. I was tied up outside without food, water or shelter which is was very sad, but I was pregnant too; I just wanted my puppies to be born healthy. The neighbors say that I had been there for about a week when a really nice lady took me to her house. She gave me plenty of food, water and love.

After my puppies were born the nice lady contacted one of the ARWOB rescuers for help. I would really like to find a home where I can have a nice comfy crate indoors, a yard where I can play outside, and a family that I know will always come home. Oh, and don't worry if you have nice plants in your backyard -- my foster mom has lots of plants and I haven't touched a single one!

I am super friendly with everybody....people, other dogs, but I am not 100% with Cats! Walking on a leash is new to me, but I'm learning. I'm really smart, so it won't be long before I'm a pro!
