To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Polly is a feisty puppy, full of fun now that she has recovered from a less than desirable start in life. Polly and her 2 sisters were left in a cardboard box in a dumpster near a "pet shop/vet clinic". Fortunately, a worker discovered these girls before trash pick-up was completed. While her sisters were available for immediate adoption, Polly was ill, probably from numerous tick bites and needed to recuperate with antibiotics before being put up for adoption. Polly's foster mom has come to love her dearly, but, if foster mom's kept all the dogs they loved, they wouldn't have room to foster; so Polly is now available to be placed in your home. She is a sweet puppy, looking for a human to love her, play with her, train her, and keep her for many years to come. Please consider adoption Polly!

Pollie's foster mom says:
     "Pollie has to be the SMARTEST foster puppy I have ever had. She learns commands very quickly. She learned to sit in about five minutes and never has to be reminded with a nudge on her bum when I say 'sit'. Remarkable. She will also stay, and responds quickly when called.
     Pollie will definitely let you know when she wants to play or needs attention; she has the funniest bark and even though it cracks me up every time I hear her, I am helping her learn to use her inside voice when I say, 'Pollie, quiet.' Pollie is crate trained, housebroken and walks well on a leash with only a few tugs to remind her not to pull. She absolutely loves car rides and enjoys taking long walks.
     I love love love Pollie but will be so happy for the adopter who welcomes her into their home. Amazing sweet 'Polliwog'!"
