To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Gracey was found living on her own with a broken hind leg. Her leg has now healed and she is romping and ready to find her permanent safe haven. Could that be your home? Gracey is a very social girl, is obedient and gets along well with other dogs and she has been exposed to cats and did well. Currently, she resides in a secure yard and is very comfortable sleeping in her crate with the door open. We think Gracey, with time and proper training, could certainly be introduced to being an indoor/outdoor dog and we think she would love it. She is looking for the right person to adopt her and give her the love and affection she so deserves. She's had a rough start in her life but is healthy and ready to start over with the right individual or family. Would you please consider her?

NOTE: Gracie's hind leg has healed on her own. We thought there was a possibility for a surgery to be required but the Orthopedist said: " Her leg doesn't bother her, she isn't limping and there is no need for surgery at this time...." If there is a potential adopter for Gracie we can give all the information on medical.

Gracie is a happy bouncy Aussie mix who although would like to be an active dog we are seeking an adopter who is intereste in a walking and possibly hiking partner but not a high energy adopter who is looking for a running parter as Gracie shouldnt be a runner because of her healed leg.
