To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Ava came to ARWOB with her litter of puppies. We estimate her age to be between 1-2 years old. Now that her pups are adopted, Ava is looking for her forever home where she can be pampered and cared for. Ava had a rough start in life being a young mother and living life on the streets, but she is a good dog with a very easy-going temperment. Ava is completely housebroken and gets along great with other dogs. She is currently sharing her foster home with 3 other dogs and Ava has adjusted with no problems. She sleeps in the house with her foster family and their other dogs. She is a mellow girl who will melt your heart when she comes asking for attention by nuzzling you to say "give me some TLC please". She is so gentle with puppies and has that "maternal" patience.

She is looking for a family who has time to spend with her and who can introduce her to a secure, safe home environment.
