To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Rocky.

Rocky was relinquished by his owners in San Diego because they hadn't checked with their landlord if they could have a dog when he was a puppy, landlord of course found out they had a dog and instead of them moving to another rental appt. they decided Rocky had to go.

Rocky is a very chill and laid back almost year-old Poodle/ Pekingese/ Maltese mix. We say Pekingese because he does have a bit of an under bite like one. He is a very friendly and outgoing guy. He's always wagging his tail and staring and people to come up to him to say hi. He gets along great with other dogs and even learns to tolerate the young and hyper guys. He walks okay on the leash, rides well in the car, and is crate trained. He is such a sweetheart! He is housebroken and would be a great companion for someone who has a normal 8hr work shift or family dog safe around well behaved children. He is not a yappy barky dog and LOVES to play with other dogs, he has the most amazing personality funny, loving and so adorable!
