Casper is an adorable teenager who LOVES everybody!
He was relinquished by his owners as they no longer could care for him although he was just a few months old! Poor little Casper he was adopted into a home who had no idea what puppy training meant and he is such a sweet little guy. When he first came to us he was matted so the groomer decided to give him a SD summer hair cut! So, right now he doesn't look like he will typically look with his long Maltese coat (curly/wavy hair) but he looks adorable and appreciates not having all that in such a warm days.
He is a super friendly pup who LOVES to play with ALL dogs of all size, ages and gets along well with cats. He would be fantastic around children and a loving companion. He rides well in the car BUT can become car sick so we are working on that. He also walks well on the leash and is crate trained. He is NOT a yappy dog, as a matter of fact he has a pretty darn strong bark (you would think he is a large breed dog! ) but he is not very vocal he can wine a little at first when in his crate but after a few minutes he stops and relaxes. He might look bigger than he is when his full coat comes back but he really is fairly light and small with longer body and shorter legs maybe he has some shih-tzu in him as well.
