Meet Tiki!
An adorable 3 month old 11 pound terrier mix who was found in the streets of Mexico early May. She is currently being fostered by a family in Carlsbad in a home with cats, dogs and teenagers. She is doing well and learning to be house trained and potty trained. Tiki is a very smart dog and will learn quickly, she is already learning nicely her potty training. Tiki would preffer sleeping in a dog bed or her foster parents beds instead of her crate as she is not fond of the crate and still learning the crate training.
Tiki is more of a people dog and would seek human companionship over her canine friends. She does very well with dogs and will play and socialize with them but will always preffer to be next to a human than a doggy friend. She does well with cats and likes her car rides. As adorable as Tiki is because of her terrier nature we are looking for a foster or adoptive parent who will have time in their hands to continue with the training with Tiki and we believe the best match for her would be a home were the adoptive parent either works from home or there is someone at home with her as she doesn't like being left alone, granted she is a pup and working on structure but a small appt or condo setting were vocalization is not appreciated is not recomended for her training stages.
