Meet Mr. Bojangels!
A 5 month old Dachshund/terrier mix. Who was relinquished along with his look alike brother late April 2012 by an owner who tried really hard to help the community dogs around her neighborhood in National City area. However, she knew she had too many dogs to care for and were actually not living under a safe environment and thought best for them to be given up for adoption by a rescue.
Mr. Bojangels is an adorable "low rider" short little legged, long body and SO loving, he loves people and although he thinks he is a tough little monkey he loves to play with other dogs once he has become friends with them. He enjoys kitties company as he loves that they are smaller than him. Like most terriers he thinks he is tougher than all the doggies at first but quickly makes friends with all the dogs at the park, he LOVES his little brother Charlie Brown and was very dependent of him at first, he has become much more independent as the weeks go by.He is crate trained and very well behaved inside the homes. However, he can bark if left alone only in the yard, as he is very quiet in his crate so he can stay home alone and wait calmly for his foster to come back home.
He is an active, typical silly happy loving pup looking for a home. He rides well in the car and walks well on the leash.
