Ringo is a Greyhound/Lab mix. He's approximately 50 lbs and is about 6 years old.
The best way to describe him is a really affectionate and playful dog. He's domesticated, trained and excellent with kids and other dogs, even other males. We have a lil' one and he's great with her! We have another one on the way and both work and unfortunately don't have the time to pay full attention to him giving him the love that he deserves. We've had him since he was a pup, and it pangs us to relinquish him, so we will be VERY selective in who will provide his new home. He is not an alpha male in a home environment and plays well and shares a home with other dogs nicely.
He comes with all shots and records and all of his personal belongings. We prefer someone or a family who is willing to give him love, attention and socialize him with other dogs at parks and so on.
Here's what else his owners have to say about him: "The two reasons I am looking to find him a new home is because he needs an owner that is around him more because he gets anxiety when he is left a lone. The second reason is kind of tied to the first because I am on the road for work a lot, for instance I leave for Chicago tomorrow, and it is getting very expense to board him when I am gone. We have a new baby on the way and since I spend $300 to $400 some months to board him I just can’t afford it.
He needs someone that is around him more and can be with him more. I don’t know if that is a realistic scenario but I am willing to try anything that will be better for him and us."
