 Scheduled Adoption Events

To see all events, visit our EVENT CALENDAR Page.

To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Fostering is
  FREE and FUN!

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Sheila is a 2-year-old Lab/Shep mix who was found in San Antonio abandoned and very pregnant. She later gave birth to 6 healthy babies all of which have been adopted, now it's mom's turn! She is a medium-sized girl, so she will be perfect for either a house or apartment setting. She is EXTREMELY sweet - her tail starts wagging immediately when you talk to her and approach her. She is also a submissive girl and is very responsive to even gentle corrections. Not only is she a happy, friendly, and sweet girl, but she can also be goofy. When you ask her to "come" she will swat the air with her two front legs and bound towards you. She really is an awesome girl and although she may look like your typical Mexican mutt, she has a personality that really brightens your day. Please give this girl a chance, she would like nothing more than to find her forever home with a person that she can love and will love her back in return.
