To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Belle. She is a Dachshund/Terrier mix who as of 8/19/11 is 8 weeks old. There is a litter of 3 boys and 3 girls. All are looking for a home to call their own. They are all healthy, short-hair, and in the first stages of potty training. Puppies are a huge responsibility so we are looking for adopters who have the time and energy needed to raise and care for a puppy.

These little guys are ADORABLE! short strong legs with a bit of a longer body. As of 8/19/11 they weigh a healthy 7 pounds. So, we expect this guys to be small to medium. Their mom is about 30 pounds but doesn't have the shorter legs so we are thinking the dad was smaller than mom, because of moms look we think they can have some border collie in there BUT really they are mostly little bundles of terror! They are perfect for families or busy homes as they LOVE to be active be it playing with toys, their siblings or YOU!
