This little girl is looking for a home along with her 8 siblings. As of 08/08/11 they have received 1 set of vaccinations and deworming, are microchiped and are eating both wet and dry food very well on their own as well as drinking plenty of water. Sterilization day is scheduled for October when they are old enough.
Their mom was rescued from the streets and gave birth several days later to 9 healthy pups. Their Mom 'Sun' is a beautiful Shepherd/Collie mix who is about 35 pounds and has a gorgeous red coat. She was such a great mom to these babies... now they are weaned off her milk and ready to find a home while their mom recovers. Afterward, she too will be looking for a home.
At this time Neptune, Pluto, Comet and Moon are fostered in the same home and are being potty trained with pee pads. They LOVE dogs, cats, children and of course anyone!
Neptune is the biggest and strongest boy, followed by Comet the sister, then Moon their sis, and finally Pluto who we believe is the runt of the litter as he is about 1lb less than their siblings who are 2 lbs while the others are almost 3 lbs.
Venus, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter & Saturn are also together in a foster home.
They are needing attention about every 4 hours for potty breaks, feedings, etc. So, we are looking for an adopter who has the time and effort to put into these babies. Having a puppy is great but its a LOT of work especially the first 2 months!
Ideally, they will be adopted into a home with other pets or someone who will be home for a majority of the time for the next 2 months until they are old enough to start a new chapter of training.
