Meet Suzy-Q! She is a 7 week old Beagle mix. Her mom is a 30lb Beagle who is super sweet and people/dog friendly, she is a great mom! Suzy-Q may potentially reach anywhere between 25 and 40 pounds. As of right now, Suzy-Q is completely weaned off mom and eating both dry and wet puppy food.

The pups are playing and exploring in their little set up. 1 little girl is not ready to be weaned off but 1 brother and sister, Suzy-Q and Charley, are ready for adoption. Pinto is the only one who is spotted, one brother is all black and 1 sister is black with a white chest.

All have the Beagle face/ears, we are looking for an adopter who is looking for a medium sized dog. We know the mom but we DO NOT know the dad. The dad can be a large/medium/small sized dog. We do know that its likely the pups will be closer to the mom's size, so they can be a bit smaller than 25lbs or larger than 40lbs. Since they are almost 8 weeks old and nearly 4 lbs it's very likely they will be smaller, in the 25-35 lb range. We are looking for adopters who own and have no problems with weight/size restrictions or adopters who rent and have checked with their HOA/Landlords on pet weight limit.

Also, adopters need to know/research pet stages. For instance, what requirements need to be met during the puppy stages (i.e. how often to feed, limitations, restrictions, etc.) and how to adjust as they grow to their needs and adopter's schedule. A volunteer will be happy to guide adopters but we also recommend researching/reading on what entitles adopting a young puppy as early as 7-8 weeks of age. We need dedicated and responsible pet adopters who understand this is NOT the age for them to be good pets around small children as they are fragile.
