Theo is a great guy. He is a Golden Retriever / Chow Mix. If you like long gazes into your eyes and smootches then Theo is for you. Smart, loyal, and fun Theo knows many commands, will go with you anywhere, and loves a good long walk or park visit. His older and overwhelmed owner tried to euthanize him and his sister (in the pack) because she never really cared for them. Theo and his sister have spent their whole lives on a concrete driveway and never were walked. Due to his little skittish reactions to fast movements and loud noises, he will make an ideal pet for a quiet home. Theo needs to be loved!
You would not be sorry to adopt him, and here’s why: Despite their years of neglect, Toby and Theo are loyal, loving, smart, and very well- behaved dogs. They love people and they get along with other dogs, and enjoy good long walks or visits to the park. Because Theo can be a little skittish around loud noises and fast movements, and because Toby does not react well to small animals -- they will make and ideal pair for a quiet home where they can be the center of attention. They really need to be loved!
