To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Archer was rescued from the San Diego County Animal Shelter by “Animal Rescuers without Borders” in San Diego and needs a best friend and forever home now! He is a neutered, one year old, black and tan Labrador Retriever and Rottweiler blend. Archer is personality plus! He is unbelievably cute, very smart and curious and loves to play ball. He has lots of energy and loves long walks, but he also loves to just sit and hang out with you as well. He is extremely lovable and will shower you with kisses. Archer came to the shelter with a severe toe injury, but after a couple of surgeries and a lot of patience on his part, he is almost completely healed now. Archer is truly a special dog and would be perfect for a single person, couple or family in a house, condominium or apartment. He seems to get along with most other dogs as well.
