To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Bali!

As of 5/10/24 this adorable young teenager is fostered in downtown san diego with a single foster parent in an apartment as a single pet. She is crate trained and its safe to say she is house trained. She is doing well on walks and enjoys her time exercising with her foster mom during walks/runs and mostly going to meet dog friends at dog parks. Bali had also stayed at casa de arwob for a couple weeks and she is enjoyed her time sharing the home with other fellow foster dogs and cats, so this girl would be a great match for a home with other dogs or as a single pet. She is pretty submissive to alpha personality dogs and she is very toy oriented as she loves to fetch and always has a toy in her mouth doesn't discriminate against a tennis ball, squeaky toy or benabone, ha! She enjoys car rides and her foster mom mentiones she is doing great on leash walks.

Bali is great with people and seems to enjoy children although has never lived with kids. Bali is a healthy and fully vetted dog READY to find her forever home.

Update from her foster family 6/5/24:

"Bali is doing great! I do hear her whine a little when I leave my place but that subsides. She loves playing with the other dogs at the dog park and is warming up to strangers. She does pull on the leash so I am trying to work with her on that If you have any tips. The other day we practiced “stay” “sit” “here” and “down” and she did great! She’s very smart and so sweet."
